Capital Meats recently partnered with Cricket Wireless and 92Q Jams radio station to sponsor a block party for the local communities during the Rebuilding Together Baltimore 2010 Rebuild Day.
"It's great to see an organization like Rebuilding Together Baltimore working so hard to revitalize the city," Capital Meats Owner Scott McMichael said. "This a community where have worked and lived for over 10 years and we are happy to be able to give back and help this community."
Capital Meats served over 400 burgers and steaks to local families and volunteers while 92Q Jams provided the jams. Hundreds of volunteers joined together to help make homew warmer, safer, and drier and to beutify the communities of Park Heights and St. Helena in Baltimore, MD.
Every year, on the last Saturday in April, Rebuilding Together Baltimore repairs and beautifies 30-70 homes in local communities. This day has come to be known as "Rebuild Day."
Capital Meats has 11 office locations located in 4 different states along the East Coast that include Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina. Giving back is important to Capital Meats because we live and work in these same communities and we are invested in making sure they continue to thrive.
